OHIO
In response to the same series of storms, a State of Emergency covering 17 Ohio counties was declared by Governor Kasich on February 24. The Ohio Department of Insurance has called upon insurance companies to implement a temporary premium non-payment cancellation moratorium and to extend all provisions imposing time constraints within which insureds must take certain action. This request applies to insureds or claimants residing in, or property insured with these 17 counties.

Founders Insurance has taken the appropriate steps to fully comply with the exceptions set forth in the directives issued by Indiana and Ohio, and will provide the relief necessary to its policyholders impacted by the February storms.
